Bruce - who divorced from wife Kris last month after 23 years of marriage - will open up about his journey in a docu-series which is due to air when he is ready.

A family source reportedly confirmed the news to People magazine, saying: "Bruce is transitioning into a woman. He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he's doing.

"He's in such a great space. That's why he it's the perfect time to do something like this."
