DJ Pierra Makena gets nominated for Ghana Movie Awards

As the year comes to an end, DJ Pierra Makena has something more to look forward to apart from 2015 New Year’s celebration.

The talented DJ has been nominated for Ghana Movie Awards after she played the role of Didi in When Love Comes Around, produced by Ghanaian producer Zynnell Zuhbeing. Makena is popularly known for her role in Tahidhi High and one of the few greatest DJ’s in Kenya.

Makena has been nominated for Best Actress African collaboration and is up against Nse Ikpe-Etim – Devil in the Detail, Eku Edewor – When Love comes Around, Maria Nepembe – Why Should I Get Married and Rukky Sanda – If You were Mine.
