An infuriated woman trader shocked passers-by after trading punches with a young man.

The woman who sells boiled maize on Workshop Road claimed the man had abused her.

The man had reportedly produced Sh10 for maize, but turned violent when he was told to pay Sh20. He lost his cool saying the maize was after all unhygienic.

The woman descended on him with blows and slaps leaving the crowed in stitches. Overpowered, the young man reached for a metal rod, but the crowd told him off for fighting an elderly woman.

“I wonder where the boy was brought up to go around abusing elderly woman like me. His ten shillings is not even enough to shave his yet-to-grow beard,” shouted the furious woman.
