Popular Mugithi artist Samidoh recently showcased his commitment to education by posting a photo of himself seated at a desk, ready to tackle exams.

The singer, known for hits like "Wendo Wi Cama" and "Murata Wa Ngai," captioned the photo with a touch of humor, stating, "Watu wa last minute ndio tunaunda mwafrica juu hii yangu siwezi iita mwaks" (Those of us who study at the last minute are the ones building Africa because I can't call this last minute).

Samidoh disclosed his student status at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT) in April, sharing his academic journey. He posted a video showcasing units from the School of Open Distance and Learning, urging himself to "work hard so that one day you can pilot an aeroplane."

Just two months ago, the singer shared his Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) grades from 2004, revealing his aspiration to become a lawyer.

Despite scoring above average in all subjects except Mathematics, Samidoh expressed gratitude for his current profession as a Mugithi sensation, humorously stating, "Huyo index number one wa kwenu anafanyanga nini siku hizi. I aspired to be a lawyer. Saa hii mimi ni One man guitar AKA Singing policeman. Dreams not shattered bado nakula mbuku" (What is the index one of your school doing these days? I aspired to be a lawyer. Now I'm a One-man guitar, AKA Singing policeman. Dreams not shattered; I'm still making strides).

Beyond academics and music, Samidoh recently expanded his horizons by launching his foundation.

Photos from the event, shared by his baby mama and nominated senator Karen Nyamu, captured the proud moment.

Nyamu congratulated Samidoh, stating the significance of a man with a vision and commending him for inspiring and challenging others with his work ethic.

She wrote on Instagram "Congratulations samidoh on the launch of your foundation. It gives me great pleasure to witness one of your dreams coming true. You inspire me and challenge me every day with your work ethic and how you manage to always be on your A game!"
