Meriada Gardens is a bar, lounge and restaurant situated along Muthangari Gardens off Gitanga Road in Lavington. It has a serene garden with spacious surroundings that can easily accommodate over 200 to 300 people.
The music played at the club and restaurant is more of rhumba in the evening and soul and some instrumental jazz during lunch hour as one enjoys their meal. The grounds have gazebos that are available for private and corporate parties and family get-togethers.
On the last weekend of every month, different bands perform for guests, with music genres ranging from rhumba to bongo.
Among the notable faces that have graced the gardens with their performances include Makadem.
A variety of drinks, both alcohol and non-alcoholic, are available with wines and liqueurs from France, Italy, Spain and South Africa. Cocktails like piña colada, dawa, Bloody Mary and so on are available, mixed by experienced cocktail mixologists.
The menu served at the restaurant is à la carte and buffet. The Meriada platter consists of various meat dishes including pork, goat, beef and chicken accompanied by roast potatoes, yellow corn, seasoned vegetables, sandwiches, burgers, soups and salads.
