Ending on a light note, LeBlanc humorously added, "Spread your wings and fly, brother; you're finally free. Much love. And I suppose you're keeping the 20 bucks you owe me."

The bond between the two actors developed over their ten seasons on "Friends," where LeBlanc portrayed Joey Tribbiani and Matthew played Chandler Bing.

Reflecting on the close-knit relationships within the cast, LeBlanc emphasized, "We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."

In a joint statement released after Matthew's passing, the entire cast shared their devastation and expressed the need for time to grieve and process the profound loss, promising to share more thoughts in the future.

"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss," read part of the statement.
