Former news anchor Jacque Maribe has issued a strong warning to her ex-partner and baby daddy, comedian Eric Omondi, urging him to cease using her name and that of their child in his comedy sketches.
Taking to her Instagram account, Jacque expressed her frustration, stating that she began receiving unexpected phone calls and messages from people informing her about Eric's jokes involving her.
Initially, Jacque refrained from addressing the issue publicly, but she felt compelled to speak out as she believed Eric had crossed a line with his actions and needed to be held accountable.
"Mr and Mrs K were just chilling then boom, I don't know people are calling and texting me saying someone called Eric is talking about you. Let me respond for the last time. I am tired of this stupidity. I've kept quiet for a long. This liar called Eric should come correct or I come with receipts. That's on period," read part of her post.
"Let me tell you Maina, I have resisted responding to this liar. He thinks parenting is part of his comedy. He lies about everything! Leave my name and my child out of your comedy Eric! I'm tired," she said.
Little is known about Jacque and Eric's co-parenting relationship if there is any. Not too long ago, the media presenter accused him of being a deadbeat father explaining that he does not even know where his son lives or schools.
Asked to comment on the matter, Eric said he did not know what Jacque was talking about as he spends time with his son.
"The person who has been in school is the one who is supposed to be interviewed. Why are you giving me an exam yet I have not been in school? I will never assume anything. I still do not know who she is talking about that is not supporting her child. I will only respond when she mentions my name."
"If you read my stories with Jacque Maribe, you will realize they are positive ones. We even share our happy moments. I don't know where this story is coming from. I have to call her to understand who she is talking about. She has not mentioned me in the posts," he responded.
Eric is currently expecting a child with his girlfriend Lynne. In his post, announcing their pregnancy, Eric claimed that he was going to be a father for the first time in his life leaving netizens questioning why he openly denied his son with Jacque.
"It has taken me 41 years but finally God has blessed me with my own. The Fruit of my loins. I feel like Sarah of Abraham of the Bible, she waited all her life for a child of her own. Thank you, baby, for making me a father???? And to God thank you for returning our baby to us," he wrote.
