A youthful man has landed in court to face theft charges. Appearing before a Makadara court, Clinton Maroko was accused that on March 4 within Malaysia area in Mwiki, he stole dairy grade cow valued at Sh110,000 belonging to David Pulei.

It is stated that on the material day around 7pm, the complainant received information that someone had stolen his cow and was spotted directing the animal towards the Drive-In area. He immediately alerted his son and an elder and followed the said route and on the way they found the suspect, having been arrested by members of the public.

At the scene, he managed to identify his cow and pleaded with the irate mob not to lynch the suspect. The situation was saved by a local administrator who called police officers to pick up the suspect. The court ordered that the suspect be brought on another date when facts and sentencing will be tabled.
