He has been making moves and rewriting the books of history and today wasn’t any different either. During Spotify’s ‘Made for Kenya’ virtual event today, Spotify revealed that Kenyans are highly interested in ‘Niko Sawa’ collaboration between Nviiri and Bien.
To mark six months since its launch, Spotify gave out statistics of the top streamed tracks, artistes and playlists by Kenyans.
The data also shows that big cities are dominating streaming habits with those streaming the most being in Nairobi and Mombasa. When it comes to genres loved by streamers, Kenyans have a huge appetite for pop, trap, rap and Southern hip hop with some Azontobeats and dance pop mixed in.
