Kenyan singer Otile Brown is making a big win on YouTube after two of his songs became the most-watched YouTube music videos in the country.
Sharing the news via Instagram, the excited singer posted two photos showing how his hit song Dusuma featuring Burundian artiste Meddy and Chaguo la Moyo featuring Sanaipei Tande performed.
The Dusuma official lyrics video has garnered over 26 million views on YouTube in 10 months, while Chaguo la Moyo racked over 25 million views three years after it was uploaded.
In his post, Otile thanked Meddy and Sanaipei for featuring in the songs, as well as Kenyans for supporting his music.
“1 & 2 most viewed in the 254 ????????.. thank y’all King’s & Queens ???? cc@meddyonly @sanaipei.tande bless up .. this is just to show y’all that We acknowledge and appreciate the love & support that y’all show us ... till the wheels fall off,” said Otile Brown.
In 2020, Otile Brown, real name Jacob Obunga, emerged as the most-streamed Kenyan artist on Boomplay, according to the company’s music fact report.
His album, ‘Just in Love’, released in June last year, also clinched the top streamed album in Kenya.
