Grammy Awards 2021 most sensational red carpet looks.

The biggest night on the music calendar is here and the stars have been dazzling the red carpet in a feast of fantastic outfits. The 63rd edition of the Grammy Awards is finally taking place having initially been scheduled to take place in January.

The coronavirus pandemic meant that tonight's awards are taking place in a sparsely filled Los Angeles Convention Center with honours being given for the best artists and songs worldwide over the past year.

But the pandemic hasn't stopped the stars donning their glad rags on the red carpet.

Noah Cyrus perhaps stole the fashion show as she turned heads in an eye-catching Schiaparelli Couture design that she said made her feel "incredible" - although fans had mixed opinions.

The 21-year-old is nominated for the Best New Artist award - something which her dad Billy Ray Cyrus was nominated for seven years before she was born.

Doja Cat, 25, is also up for the award and stunned in a head-turning low cut Roberto Cavalli jacket-style dress with a flowing floor-length green feather skirt.

The star is up for three awards in total, with the other two for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for her Say So hit song.

For those panicking that the outfit didn't look secure enough to last the night, the star told ET there were ""reinforcements running through this dress".

Megan Thee Stallion, who has already won a Grammy for Best Rap Performance for Savage this year alongside Beyonce, wore a flamboyant orange dress with a high leg slit and a diamond necklace.

She was also nominated for Record of the Year and Best Rap Song for the same tune and Best New Artist.

Host Trevor Noah showed that sometimes simplicity is key.

Wearing a sophisticated and clean cut black tux, the 37-year-old took to Twitter to send his followers a short message: "Here we go!"

When he was first announced as host in November last year he said: "I'm truly honoured to be hosting The #GRAMMYS, a night celebrating all of our favourite artists who’ve helped keep us sane while we’re all stuck indoors!"

He opened the ceremony by joking about the royal family.

For the second year in a row Billie Eilish matched her extravagant outfit to her nails - this time she even donned a matching face mask.

Billie Eilish picked up an award for her Bond song - although the film is yet to be released.

The No Time To Die singer showcased a dusty pink suit with silver sequinned detailing and rose pattern to complete her top-to-toe look.

She was nominated for four awards this year and changed her outfit as she to the stage to perform alongside her brother Finneas.
