DaBaby has posted a touching tribute to his brother after he reportedly took his own life. Glen Johnson died by suicide on Tuesday in Charlotte, North Carolina, TMZ said yesterday. Before his death Glenn had shared a video of himself in his car holding a gun and crying as he spoke about how he had been wronged in the past, it's claimed.

DaBaby, 28, hasn't commented on the cause of his brother's death but did mention him twice on his Instagram account today. He changed the biography on his page to "LONG LIVE MY BROTHER" with a black love heart emoji. On his Instagram stories, he shared a snippet from his 2019 lead single Intro from his second studio album Kirk.

The lyrics appeared to reference his brother's struggles. They said: "My brother be thinkin' that we don't love him and let him struggle like we ain't family. Like I won't give up all I got to see you happy." DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, also shared a video of himself and his niece.

His brother is survived by three daughters and a son. In the video, he rested his head on the little girl as he told her he loves her, and she said it back. "Niecey pooh," he captioned it with a love heart and crossed fingers emoji. This isn't DaBaby's first family loss as his album was dedicated to his dad, who passed away just as DaBaby's career was taking off.
