Ever since their wedding, Sanura Kassim alias Mama Dangote and her husband Maisara Shamte have faced questions from fans and followers on whether they plan on having a child. Sanura has finally responded to the inquisitions on whether Diamond Platnumz will have a younger sibling. Responding to an Instagram follower who questioned why she was not getting pregnant, Sanura responded saying, “I don’t plan on getting pregnant.”
When reached for further comment by local press, she said, “I don’t want anything to do with gossip” before hanging up the phone.

The couple has in the past faced cyberbullying as some netizens questioned whether Shamte had a hidden motive in marrying Sanura, given her son’s musical success. After tying the knot, netizens claimed he lived under Sanura’s roof as he didn’t have a home of his own. Speaking afterwards, Shamte wondered why people would be concerned on why he lives with his lawfully wedded wife.
“You know people have been questioning why I married Diamond’s mother and why I live at her place. The issue is not that I lack a house but staying with my wife so she can take care of me,” he said.
Claims of denying children inheritance
Given his musical success, Diamond Platnumz has made quite a fortune and many of his properties are registered under his mother’s name. The singer previously wrote to his mother, “If you hadn’t given birth to me and raised me through the hardships, today no one would have known me. If I happen to die today, half of my wealth is yours.”

Diamond was then accused of disinheriting his four children sired with Zari Hassan, Hamisa Mobetto and Tanasha Donna. However, Diamond denied the claims saying “I’m not the kind of person to show if this hotel will be Tiffah’s or Nillan will run Wasafi FM or whether Wasafi TV will be Dyllan’s. My children are very young and I can’t wait for them to grow up and start running my projects. I even wish Tiffah would help me but she’s too young. It’s not like they don’t have rights (to my properties).”
Some of his properties include WCB music label, Wasafi TV and Wasafi FM. He also owns a three star hotel and recently announced the completion of Wasafi Tower in Dar es Salaam. Diamond also has mansions in Dodoma, Dar and Johannesburg, South Africa. He owns luxury vehicles among them several Toyota Landcruisers and a BMW X6.
