Bryan Kabugi, the former Machachari child star who made our ribs crack is now all grown up, both physically and career-wise.
Now a household name in the Kenyan film industry, Bryan has undergone a major transformation; from the funny, cute young ghetto kid in Machachari to a handsome and talented actor in some of the biggest productions in the country.
Bryan had his breakthrough in acting seven years ago when he played Kenny in the hit kid show.

After exiting the show, he worked alongside Martin Githinji in the Mnet feature film Blood Brothers.

In 2018, he starred in a Zamaradi Production film Dreamchild that was nominated for the 2019 AMVCA’s under ‘best indigenous film in Africa’. He then played Leo in Maisha Magic Plus’ hit TV show Kina alongside bigwigs including Sanaipei Tande, Jimmy Gathu, Bruce Makau and Ainea Odhjiambo.
Aside from acting, Bryan is also an event organizer having done multiple club gigs with the most recent being Nai Fest that featured Nigerian pop sensation Joeboy.

The actor also boats of several TV adverts under his belt and also runs online marketing campaigns through social media.
"I want to be the next Kenyan on the Hollywood scene, following in the footsteps of Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o," he said.
