Businessman-cum-Molo politician Flash Mwatha made a surprise marriage proposal to his long-time girlfriend, detective Jane Mugo.
The two were holidaying at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa in Mombasa.

“I wanted to go for a boat ride after a long day, but when I asked him to join me, he said he wanted to just chill by the beach, so I went by myself.
“A few minutes later, he followed me into the sea on a speed bike and I wondered why he had changed his mind.

“He then got into the boat and went down on one knee and proposed to me. I said ‘yes.’ He has made me believe in love. I want the world to know. Wedding bells very soon!” she told Heads Up.
