Kisumu City was the place to be last weekend with the Riverwood Awards going down there on Saturday night.
And the big party was going down at Club da Place where top female deejay DJ Mellow was joined by industry players, including the Pulse crew as well as fans for a night of enjoyment.
The top entertainment joint was filled to capacity and when she got on the decks, the social and sassy turn-tablist was on top of her game getting everyone on their feet to jam to her mix.
At one point, she got out some handcuffs and dared the male fans for a battle. The party joint has given Kisumu a new lease of life as it has been hosting most of the big stars from Nairobi every weekend even as it promotes local talent.
