A stern warning has been issued by the Tanzanian government to disgruntled voices over the appointment of beauty queen Jokate Mwegelo as the new Kisarawe Provincial Commissioner.
As expected, not everyone was happy with the post that the ex to Diamond and Ali Kiba had received with some claiming that she did not deserve the job.
Through a statement sent to different Tanzanian media houses, the Ministry of Information and Interior Affairs asked its citizens to stop trolling the actress.
It argued that the dissent was akin to mocking President John Magufuli who appointed her as commissioner.
Following her appointment, Jokate revealed that she was at a low point in her life and she had no idea where her political career was headed
She has not had it easy either. She was relieved of her job as Uoungozi Wa Vijana Chama Cha Mapinduzi (UVCCM) representative after she failed to reach targets while in office.
