If you haven’t noticed by now, it is no secret that Floyd Mayweather loves bling.
Named as the highest paid athlete in the world, the boxer has raked in an eye-popping $285 million in total earnings in 2018, according to Forbes.
Never shy of displaying his affinity for luxury, the retired boxer took to his social media to showcase his recent purchase, a Jacob and Co.’s $18 million “Billionaire” diamond tourbillon watch.
“This my new timepiece, it's called "The Billionaire Watch". If you don't know about it, google Billionaire Watch. That's $18 Million on the price tag. I bought this watch from the best jeweler in the world, hands down @tadashi1980. He has better prices than any other jeweler that I’ve ever done business with ever and trust me, I’ve bought jewelry from every jeweler in NYC, Vegas, LA, Detroit, Houston and Miami. From here on out I’m only buying from @tadashi1980 fire your jeweler and hire @tadashi1980 Follow his page now.” Mayweather posted alongside his billion-shilling watch.
An exceptionally extravagant timepiece, the Billionaire is set with 260 carats of emerald-cut diamonds. The bold cut enhances the brilliance of the diamonds, which are set in an inverted pyramid style. The entire 18-karat white gold case and bracelet of the watch is diamond-set with stones that weigh as much as three carats each.
Acquired from jeweler Tadashi Fukushima, Forbes points out that the immaculate timepiece was introduced during Baselworld 2015, and it’s a one-of-a-kind watch that renowned jeweler Jacob Arabo created in affiliation with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore and his Billionaire Lifestyle SARL company.
Way to go Mayweather!
