Ugandan artist Jose Chameleon is smiling all the way to bank after scooping a whopping Sh1.4 million (Ugx50 million) during a social media campaign.
The campaign dubbed ‘Golden Song Of The Week’; where four songs are shared weekly and fans get to vote for their best song, saw Chameleone’s ‘Champion’ emerging top after beating the other three nominated songs.
The reward comes days after the Leone Island boss was recognized and awarded the Legend accolade at the recent Zzina awards at Freedom city.
It comes as no surprise that the video won favor in the eyes of viewers thanks to the creativity and technology deployed in the making of the video.
