Kenyan songstress Cecilia Wairimu AKA Amani has switched from secular to doing gospel music.
The veteran musician made the announcement in interview with Amina Abdi.
“I have turned a new leaf. I am now born again,” stated Amani.
The singer also revealed that she’s currently focusing her time and energy on her hair brand, Diva Luxury.

Amani, Kenya's most decorated female singer, joins a growing number of female Kenyan artistes making the switch to gospel music.
Three months ago, Wahu Kagwi quit secular music and went ahead to release her first gospel song Sifa.
“Last year, I went through some issues and that catapulted me to go down on my knees and begin my search for God,” stated Wahu.
Linet Munyali AKA Size 8 also made the switch four years ago and has had a successful career as a gospel artiste.
