National Super Alliance (NASA) presidential candidate Raila Odinga has rubbished the electoral results of all elective seats done on the 8th of August 2017.

Speaking at a press conference at a Nairobi hotel, Odinga claimed that the results being streamed by IEBC were an affront to democracy and had been doctored to favour President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The results by the IEBC show that Kenyatta leads with 7.7 million votes (54.4%) while Odinga trails with 6.3 million votes a 44.7% representation of the votes cast. These results were as of 11:30am - 9th August 2017.

Odinga however has disputed this claiming that the elections were a fraud.

His address to the media comes a few hours after Jubilee’s Secretary General Raphael Tuju addressed the media. In his briefing, Tuju said that the results were a true portrayal of the voice of the people.

IEBC is yet to respond to the allegations made by NASA.
