Three men who sexually assaulted a woman in a Githurai bound bus were were on July 19 sentenced to death.

Edward Gitau, Nicholas Mwangi and Meshak Mwangi were sentenced to face death by Nairobi Chief Magistrate Francis Andayi for the offence which he described as most heinous.

The incident, which was captured on video and widely circulated on social media prompted the DPP to act.
