For fans of cartoon series, you’d probably know The Simpsons, an American animated sitcom that occasionally satirizes political situations in the free world.
Well in 2000 in an episode called “Bart to the Future” the animation portrayed a grown up Lisa Simpsons the president then, who in her conversation says she had “inherited quite a budget crunch from President Trump”.
The Sitcom would again in 2015- although his intentions to run for Presidency were now obvious , run an episode called ‘Trumptastic Voyage’
In an interview with Guardian Matt Groening the creator said that they had decided to use Trump because he was "the most absurd placeholder joke name that we could think of".
