Has men’s marital sex life fizzled

One thinker said that, foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of the little minds. The sentiments are apt to the foolish behavior some of our elected leaders engage in and more specifically men.

Apart from representing us, our leaders are supposed to be our role models. They should be people who have values, like integrity, respect and discipline.

However, where has our morals gone as human beings? What has happened to traditional morality in society? The erratic behavior by the two MCAs (Members of County Assembly) in Kisii to engage in sex with three secondary school girl students was embarrassing to themselves.

Taking advantage of the students’ naivety and gullibility in order to violate their virginity was really unfortunate, crude and disgusting; hence, eroded the students’ self-esteem in the eyes of the Kenyans. And who knows, they may have been infected by terminal diseases such as HIV/Aids for the lack of protection.

Long ago, matters sex was sacrosanct hence involved two consenting heterosexual adults. Girls would not be involved in fornication or promiscuity because of the strict upbringing which ensured they give themselves only to their legal married men in matrimony.

Men on their part, sought girls hand in marriage at the opportune time and blessings from the girl’s parents. Indeed, time really flies out and now it’s a different ball game. Men are lustily coveting to spice up their love-life with underage and this is seemingly due to the fact that their marital sex life has fizzled and wants to sizzle.

Doesn’t it sound awkward for the MCAs to be caught with pants down in their personal cars?

In relationships today, couples are losing sexual appeal they had for each other. But the genesis of adultery is man himself. Man is inherently made or attracted to a novel girl or woman.

A man is the head of a household; this as a result has elevated his ego to a different level. He doesn’t want to out-grow teenage or youth behavior of being promiscuous.

Since men do not want to be liabilities in matrimony’s matters bedroom etiquette, they would rather use Viagra to spruce up their libido.

But because they are apprehensive of carrying with them the sex wonder performance drug, they resort to consorting with young girls such as primary and secondary school girls in bid to rediscover masculinity seemingly evading them.

“Having good bedroom manners is essential to a happy life. At various times everyone is hurt, bored or awkward during sex,” says sex therapist Dr. Benard Apfelbaum of Berkeley California. “A good sex life is attainable for any normal person and your bedroom manners may be the key to whether your life is good or bad,” he added.

So does men’s fizzling sex life in matrimony justify extra-marital flings? Okay, this may be the case, but the basic issue at stake between the situational ethic and natural law theory about sex is the Locus value.

Where does the goodness or the badness lie when caught with the pants down?

As the old realist- nominalist debate recognized long ago, the question is: - Is the moral quality or value of a thing or action intrinsic, extrinsic, inherent or contingent?

Men, why do you want to prove your sexual exploits with school girls? Go back to bedroom basics concerning sex to rediscover formula since your wives are not frigid or bedroom bore.
