New celebrity father Jamal Gaddafi may have lost his grandmother during the week but this sorrow did not entirely dampen the ongoing ceremonies following the birth of his son.
Last weekend, the KTN TV host had rare visitors giving him a surprise visit as he did a religious party to celebrate the arrival of his son, Eyaad.
“My family here were really taken by shock to see all these great politicians honor us with a visit. It was a unique ceremony attended by unique people who left us truly touched,” Jamal told Pulse.
The ceremony that was attended by among others Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho and politicians Junet Mohamed and Farah Maalim as well as political aspirant Steve Mbogo was held in Kitui, where the entire town came to a standstill as many thought Joho was there for a political rally.
“The entire town was on a standstill and it was only hours later when people discovered that the good governor was here to visit,” Jamal said.

“I lost my grandmother this week and our family is still mourning her. At the same time we are grateful that she lived to see her old age and even get a chance to see her grandson,” he added.
