Popular American soul artist Egbert Nathaniel Dawkins III AKA Alloe Blacc is coming to Kenya.

According to the Blankets and Wine Facebook page, the star, who is behind I Need a Dollar and The Man hit singles is scheduled to perform on 10 of April at the Ngong Racecourse during the annual Blankets and Wine festival.

 The 37-year-old Southern Californian native's  other outstanding works include the vocals for Avicii’s chart topping track Don’t Wake me Up.

Away from music, he is an active philanthropist with the Malaria No More charity, whose mission is to have “a world where no child dies from a mosquito bite”.

Tickets are selling at Sh2,000 and the event is scheduled to start at 11am to 9pm
