App that allows multiple numbers in one phone Photo: Mirror

Love cheats no longer need two mobiles to orchestrate their double lives because a new app can give them two numbers for the same phone.

The revolutionary app, called Swytch, allows users to have up to five additional mobile numbers to use on their existing smartphone.

This means they can call or text somebody they shouldn't after simply selecting which number they wish to use - essentially juggling their relationships.

Smartphone owners just need to download the free app, available on iPhone and Android, and activate a new number to use.

Users are given £0.50 credit and a phone call to a landlines costs £0.05 a minute, calls to mobiles is £0.06 a minute and text messages cost £0.06 each.

Chris Michael, CEO and Co-Founder of the groundbreaking app, said when developing the app it was inevitable it 'could also attract the unfaithful ones'.

He said: "If having access to more than one number makes it easier for people to have affairs, then it happened a long time ago when Pay As You Go SIM cards became available.

"Swytch makes it possible for people to have multiple numbers on their existing mobile phone, and while this may assist people who have already decided to have affairs, I cannot believe that would be a factor in their decision to start one.

"Facebook made it easier to meet people and dating app Tinder literally made it easier to hook up with people.
