Steve Harvey was able to apologise to Miss Universe in person - amid claims that he'd been drinking and gambling before the crowning.
The comedian was responsible for a truly awkward television moment when he wrongly announced Miss Colombia Ariadna Gutierrez-Arévalo as the winner during the pageant on Sunday.
In actual fact the crown belonged to Miss Philippines Pia Wurtzbach, who was revealed as the real winner just moments later.
Even though Steve was very apologetic on stage and on Twitter, a picture has emerged of the 58-year-old making amends with Miss Philippines backstage.
The snap - posted on Steve's Instagram page - features the comic clutching on to both of the beauty's hands.

In the caption, Steve revealed that he'd also had the opportunity to say sorry to Miss Colombia.
He wrote: "I had the chance to apologize to Miss Philippines and I'm thankful. #godisgood #iloveyou I apologized to Miss Colombia as well."
Steve's apology comes amid claims that he'd been out and about in Las Vegas just hours before the pageant.
According to TMZ, the 58-year-old had been seated at a high-end roulette table and enjoyed 'a few drinks'.
We have contacted Steve's reps for a comment.
The controversy surrounding the pageant is yet to settle down, with Miss Germany Sarah-Lorraine Riek slamming the result.
"I really couldn’t believe it, I was so upset. For me Miss France was the real winner,” she said in an interview uploaded to Facebook page Missosology.
"I was very happy for Miss Colombia because she really deserved it. I’m really not happy with the result and so are the other girls, I’m sorry to say it," she added.
"Because none of us voted for Philippines. I’m so sorry to say it."
