It was a happy day for 3,000m steeplechase winner Ezekiel Kemboi and the whole of Kenya as he bagged the gold medal in Beijing yesterday.
As he danced to his famous moves after the win, he did not forget to dedicate his race to Charles Njagua, Senator Mike Sonko and Former PM’s wife Ida Odinga who was celebrating her birthday on the same day.
According to Game Yetu, Kemboi said, “Sonko called me on Sunday to wish me the best. He is my friend and Jaguar is doing a good job in fighting drug abuse. This is history. To win four titles is noy easy and I’m delighted to beat the record of my coach.”
