“Niko poa” hit maker Mejja Okwonkwo is arguably one of the finest singers in the country today whose hits traverse generations. Having recently joined the hit making group, Kansoul, and with a career on the rise, he recently shared his heartfelt story to share in the quest to motivate his fans.

Having come from Majengo in Nyeri, Mejja revealed the struggles had to go through before becoming a household name and how he had to stick with his passion rather than doubt.

 “I was once a dream, a boy from the ghettoh with love for music, some laughed at me, some discouraged me, but I kept on pushing. Sometimes I felt like giving up but my passion was stronger than my doubts it wasn't easy but finally I made it in what I wanted to do, music!!!! Follow your dream, follow your passion and money will follow, just don't give up.” Mejja said.

And for those who are often quick to take the glory and forget to that the lords who helped them rise, he was keen to warn them that they should give thanks saying;
