Fast and Furious actor Vin Diesel has named his newborn baby girl after his former co-star Paul Walker.
The actor announced the news on America’s Today show saying his daughter would be called Pauline, BBC News reports.
The late co-star, Paul Walker, died in a car crash in 2013 while on break from shooting in LA. “I might never have gone into a delivery room if it wasn’t for Paul,” said Diesel.
Diesel added that part of his part in child’s birth was because of Paul’s advice seven years ago which he said, “Go into the delivery room and own it and be present…don’t shy away from it and cut the umbilical cord.”
The actor said when it came to write down the name, his choice had to be Pauline.
