What started as a joke has now turned into a hit number and what’s more, Jamaican singer Alaine might not just be looking for Wafula, but also to stay permanently in Kenya.
After launching her new track Wafula, a confessional single on her desire to marry a Kenyan man, the visiting Jamaican star is said to be considering investing in Nairobi and also having a residence here.
“She has said numerous times that she loves this country and is seriously considering moving here. She loves Nairobi and calls Kenya her second home,” our source said.
Alaine was expected to participate in yesterday’s Beyond Zero marathon but failed to show up for unspecified reasons.
