A middle aged man this morning chained himself at the monument of former freedom fighter Dedan Kimathi along Kimathi Street in Nairobi and demanded audience with Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko.
The man only identified as a nephew to the late Kimathi said his life has been a miserable one ever since he finished college.
He says his uncle fought for the country’s freedom but that has never been achieved since he is still chained to poverty.
He said he will not leave until Nairobi Senator Mike Sonko comes and intervenes.
