The 2023 Lewa Marathon begins. [Peter Muiruri, Standard]

The Lewa Marathon has been termed by Runner's World as one of the world's top ten "must-do" marathons.

It is also listed as one of the Financial Times How To Spend It's top 11 sporting challenges for 2022 where runners of all abilities take part.

The 24th edition of the marathon was held at Lewa Wildlife Conservancy consisting of the half (21 km), 42km (full) marathon race flanked by some of Africa's most amazing wildlife.
