Vaka Tuitupou with his team
  • The Samoan rugby player weighs 100 kilograms
  • He is “two heads taller than most kids his age” and could pick up kids with one hand if he wanted to

A seven-year-old Samoan rugby player has shown the world that indeed size matters.

The towering boy became an Internet sensation last week after a video emerged, showing him tearing into an entire team unopposed from one end to the other as he ran to make a try.

Vaka Tuitupou, according to Oddity Central, weighs 100 kilograms and is “two heads taller than most kids his age”.

Nasser Matta, president of his St John’s Eagles club, in Australia, said that the player was aware that he was a giant and he works hard not to hurt his opponents, but admitted he had no competition.

“He could pick up kids with one hand if he wanted to but he’s just a nice gentle boy,” Matta defended him.
