Nairobi Aviation College students protest to NTV, police arrest 17

NAIROBI: A section of Nairobi Aviation College students staged a protest along Nairobi Streets to condemn a story by NTV claiming most of certificates issued there were not genuine.

The students camped outside Nation Centre and pelted stones smashing few glasses before they left saying they were victims of witch hunt.

Police watched from a distance as the students shouted while carrying twigs. Some of the students turned violent and attacked photojournalists who tried to take their pictures.

They said the expose dubbed Certificates of Doom was biased. Police arrested 17 students as they marched near Nation Centre shouting and pelting stones.
