My biological father dressed me in a wedding gown and raped me

An adopted woman who tracked down her real father when she was 13 has told how he dressed her in a wedding gown and went on to rape her. Then, when Marion fell pregnant with her biological dad John, he attempted to perform a home abortion on her. But the home operation failed, and she went onto have the abortion in hospital.

She later had another child with him - a boy who has since been taken into care - but it was this pregnancy which prompted her to leave. Marion, now 26, told how she was excited to trace her long-lost father and turned up on his doorstep. But within weeks he was raping and abusing her, calling her “Daddy’s special girl”. He dressed her in a wedding gown and said he wanted them to be married.
