The hearing of the murder case of Kasipul MP Charles Ong’ondo Were commenced on Monday at the Kibera Law Courts, with the prosecution saying it was ready to prosecute its case against five suspects charged over the killing.
Senior Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions Gikui Gichuhi told the court that Were’s killing was the result of a carefully orchestrated conspiracy involving the accused persons, including the MP’s own bodyguard.
