People visit the Green Zone of the 28th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, Dec. 3, 2023. [Xinhua]

It also has arts, entertainment, and the fully operational Expo City farm with opportunities to engage and amplify the voices of youth and indigenous peoples.

It has over 200 private companies and civil society groups exhibit, innovative private sector climate solutions and partnerships, cutting-edge technologies and progressive thinking and over 90 food and beverage outlets serving sustainable, socially responsible, delicious and nutritious menus.

It will be open to the public, private sectors, media, youth, NGOs, as well as delegates and guests of the UNFCCC-managed Blue Zone for two weeks.

The Blue Zone will however only be open to accredited party and observer delegates and will host formal negotiations.

COP28's mission in the Green Zone is to translate insights and ideas into meaningful impact.
