Trans Nzoia Governor George Natembeya has made changes in his cabinet.
In the reshuffle aimed at improving service delivery, Sammy Ojwang will head the Education docket replacing Julie Kichwen. Kichwen takes over Ojwang's position at the Public Service Management PSM.
Additionally, adjustments have been made to the positions of chief officers.
Kennedy Etiang, formerly in charge of Public Service Management, has been transferred to Trade. Philip Kapten, who previously worked at the Lands department, will replace him.
Jane Masika had been moved from Education to the Sports and Gender department.
Patrick Osoro, who served at the Agriculture Department will assume the role of chief officer for Lands. He has been replaced by Omari Ndiema, who previously served in the Trade docket.
Dr Rose Nasiebanda, who previously oversaw the Gender department, has been moved to Education.
Natembeya expressed confidence that the changes will significantly improve service delivery. The new transfers take effect immediately.
