Police officers help to maintain law and order by protecting members of the public and improving the quality of life for all citizens.

With a few days to the election, all citizens should be ambassadors of peace for themselves and everyone in order to give police officers easy work.

Elections pose serious challenges for the police and the government at large.

Candidates are always sworn not to instigate violence or engage in intimidation. However, some fail to adhere to this and instigate violence, hoping to gain some advantage over their opponents.

Let no one be influenced by anyone since politics comes and with time, it flows away. Everyone should cooperate with police officers.

It is bad to see an elected leader struggling with police officers in public. It sets a bad example for the public.

We should learn to respect instructions given in any place now that we are approaching elections.

Let all and sundry respect our police officers.
