Makueni MCA dies in a road accident

Makueni Member of the County Assembly has died in a road accident.

Harris Ngui Musau, the  MCA for Nguu-Masumba Ward died, on the Mombasa-Nairobi highway on Tuesday, June 15.

The few-minutes-to-7pm accident left the county legislator's white Prado written off.

Mukaa Sub-county Police Commander Jacinta Mwarania said the crash took place near Salama area along the busy highway.

“The deceased was in the company of another unknown female passenger who sustained serious head injuries and was rushed to Machakos Level Five Hospital,” Mwarania told The Standard.

The police boss said unfortunately the woman in her 20s also died while receiving treatment.

The bodies have been moved to Machakos Level Five Hospital mortuary.

The vehicles have been towed to Salama Police Station yard as police launch investigations into the cause of the accident.
