It appears that Deputy President William Ruto will always find ways of outsmarting those who criticize his way of doing things.

Well, after getting slammed for a long time about the high profile harambees he has been presiding over, he has changed tact.

On Saturday, he stunned leaders after he single-handedly presided over what many believed was a fundraiser.

After the management of the school he visited gave him a figure of what they required to buy a piece of land, the DP coughed up the entire amount required- which was not a huge figure- and quickly concluded the event.

That is vintage Ruto for you!

A second term MP is increasing getting isolated by his colleagues over his controversial stand on issues.

The legislator in question has been very vocal on matters that afflict residents of the region he comes from, and at times has even attempted to go against the political grain.

Over the weekend during a function attended by an influential politician, the MP cut a lonely figure as his counterparts avoided him like plague before the high profile event.

To while away time, the soft-spoken lawmaker who cut a lonely figure was compelled to fiddle with his phone through-out.

Some voters from his constituency have been clear that the man must reconsider his hard stance for the sake of his own survival.
