Kenyan viewers countrywide were on Wednesday evening March 6, 2019, torn between watching the two biggest political shows airing at the same time.

Political economist David Ndii was the guest on KTN’s Point Blank while Central Organisation of Trade Unions (COTU) Secretary General Francis Atwoli graced Citizen’s JKL show, most Kenyans had diverse opinions as to which show would be watched the most.

The war between Point blank and JKL was started by Kenyans on Twitter and a good number castigated Jeff for ‘recycling’ guests.

On Point Blank, Ndii had a detailed conversation with the host Tony Gachoka on Kenya’s economy, the conflict between President Uhuru Kenyatta and Deputy President William Ruto, the SGR saga and other issues affecting the country.

The two went further to discuss the intricacies surrounding President Kenyatta’s succession, something that drew a myriad of reactions online.

Atwoli, on the other hand, opined on a number of issues and offered DP Ruto advise on how to get to State House.

He urged the DP to be patient and calculative in his moves if he intends to be the next President.

Although the long-serving workers’ union boss had some hard hitting points in his interview, netizens appeared to have been drawn to Pointblank.

If the tweets were anything to go by, Atwoli had made far too many appearances on the show and had nothing new to offer.
