PHOTOS: Abandoned bag causes scare in Nairobi

They say once beaten twice shy. With the recent terror attack in Nairobi’s 14 Riverside Drive still fresh in our minds, members of the public have become vigilant and are quick to report suspicious persons and activities to the police.

Any luggage left unattended in public spaces often stir unpleasant memories and with it comes caution.

So when a pedestrian noticed this bag abandoned in front of the Tuskys supermarket in town on Sunday, security officer pulled it away to a relatively safer location and informed the police.

Luckily, it was full of clothing and police took it away.
