A county governor who had eyed a crucial position in the recently concluded Council of Governor’s election maybe a bitter man over what he considers demeaning treatment by a senior Jubilee official.
The man had frantically sought the intervention of the Jubilee honcho, who was not keen on helping the county boss in clinching the COG top seat.
The Grapevine has learnt that the governor was further irked by the fact that the top party official did not only ignore his numerous calls but also shared the matter with a rival governor from the same region.
And to taunt the COG candidate, the rival governor who is from the opposition party, called one of the governor’s aides to tell his boss to stop bothering the Jubilee official whom they were hanging out with.
The desperate county chief later withdrew from the race.
