Why has staunch Ruto supporter gone mum?

The resounding silence of a renowned vocal MP, considered to be a key ally of Deputy President William Ruto as the onslaught against him continues, has sent tongues wagging. 

The seasoned politician has been on the record in the past saying that he can put his life on the line for the DP.

But months after Dr Ruto found himself in the eye of the storm, the veteran politician has been uncharacteristically mum, which is so unlike him. 

Many people are wondering whether the legislator has sensed danger ahead or he fell out with the man he previously so much adored.
