Most farmers in different parts of Kenya have started embracing the use of Sistema biogas technology which comes with many benefits.
A person with only two cows or more is capable of installing the new biogas system that produce cooking gas and organic fertiliser. The company also sells larger units that are being used to generate electricity. Waste from poultry and pigs can also be used in the bio digester.
Sistema.bio is one of the most innovative Hybrid Reactor bio digester technologies in Kenya that also provides farmers with a reliable service program, interest free financing and long-term technical assistance.
The Sistema unit comprises of anaerobic reactor, inlet of 200L, fertilizer outlet and storage, cook stove, 35 metres gas line, H2S filter, pressure relief valve, two water tramps, and protective geotextile.
