National Super Alliance (NASA) Coalition leader Raila Odinga did not get a response he expected when he took to social media to wish Kenyans a happy Easter Holiday on Friday, March 30.

Mr. Odinga in the early morning tweeted wishing all Kenyans blessings as they marked the religious 3-day long holiday.

Kenyan’s on Twitter, however, took the opportunity to voice their feelings towards Mr. Odinga who recently shook hands with the president citing the country’s interests. Many of his followers said he would rather follow up on the re-deportation of National Resistance Movement’s (NRM), an affiliate of NASA, self-declared General Miguna Miguna.

Miguna Miguna was first deported to Canada in February after taking part in the swearing-in of Raila as the people’s president. He returned to the country on March 26 but was then deported to Dubai under unknown circumstances.

The ‘general’ claimed that he was assaulted and drugged at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) before forcefully being put on the Dubai-bound flight.

His second deportation has left many supporters and leaders demanding action.

Mr. Odinga’s Twitter followers reminded him the source of Miguna’s trouble asking him to act and ensure justice.

Here are some of the messages they sent;

How happy can Easter be when Miguna is in Dubai n his family n fans are in pain? Does it mean that you can't call for demonstration to bring Miguna Miguna back?— Sir Jack (@Its_Jakusa) March 30, 2018

From a greater percentage of tweets over here, the writing is clearly on the wall. The big question is when is @RailaOdinga initiating the discussion on his succession? His helplessness at JKIA indicated that his political power has waned and so time to introduce a new firebrand
