Police in Bungoma County rounded up four boys from St.Mary’s Kibabii Boys High School and one from Good Shepherd ACK after they were caught in a latrine at Cardinal Otunga Girls Secondary school on March 25.

Police accosted them when they were deployed to restore calm at Cardinal Otunga Girls School.

According to the area OCPD Francis Sang, the boys are suspected to have hidden in the school from Saturday, March 24.

They were caught wearing windbreakers from the girls over their sweaters.

MR. Sang cited that the students may have crossed into the neighbouring school as the girls protested over their new school principal at around 11 pm.

It is not clear why the boys, who were later taken Bungoma Police Station awaiting investigations were in the girls’ school.
